Alabama Free Clinic is a network of volunteer doctors, nurses, and clerical personnel providing high-quality medical care to low-income Baldwin County adults without health insurance. These volunteers are the heart and soul of our clinic. Without them we would have no clinic. As is the case with most free clinics, Alabama Free Clinic also has a small, dedicated, and hard-working paid staff that plays a critical role in administering day-to-day operations, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, scheduling patient appointments, managing clinic sessions, facilitating follow-up care (e.g. lab testing, diagnostic procedures, specialty referrals), securing no-cost brand name medications, maintaining and updating patient records, and interfacing with other community agencies.
